Print, sign, scan, email back: for the customer that is four steps, and a quote can get stuck at any of them. Bring the signature to where the customer already is, their phone or laptop, and you get it back faster.

Where the request starts

In Blina Desk you request a signature directly on the document: from the document archive or from a quote, order or invoice in Sales. You enter one to ten signers with name and email, add a message if you like and choose the deadline: seven days by default, ninety at most.

What the customer receives

Each signer receives an email in your company’s language, from your company’s email address, not from a third-party service. The link opens a page where they can download the document and sign with a finger or mouse, without an account or registration. If no outgoing email account is set up, no email goes out, so set it up before the first request.

Keeping track

The list of signature requests shows each request with document, signers and status: pending, partially signed, completed, expired or cancelled. Once the deadline has passed, the link no longer works. For each request there is an evidence PDF with the document’s name, status, deadline, the signers and their signatures.

What the signature means legally

Blina Desk creates a simple electronic signature within the meaning of the eIDAS Regulation (EU) No 910/2014: name, email address, time and the drawn signature are recorded in the evidence. Under Article 25 of the Regulation it may not be denied legal effect solely because it is electronic. For transactions with no formal requirements, such as accepting a quote between businesses, it is a common approach. Where the law requires a handwritten signature, a qualified electronic signature or a notary, it is not enough.

In short

The fewer steps between quote and signature, the sooner you get a yes. A signature on the phone, without an account and requested from your own address, is the shortest route. You can try it free for 30 days.
